Paula Jones

qualified in 1985 as a Chartered Physiotherapist from the Coventry School of Physiotherapy. Working initially at Queen Mary's Hospital Roehampton involving specialist areas including burns and plastics and amputees. She then worked as a senior physiotherapist at Ashford Hospital working in hydrotherapy and out-patients.

Paula has worked extensively in the world of international sports physiotherapy. She was team physiotherapist to the British Women's Judo Team, dedicated physiotherapist to the British Sailing team at the 1988 Seoul and 1992 Barcelona Olympics. She spent a year working with NISA the National Ice Skating Association travelling with the Figure and Dance teams and attending the World championships in Nice. Paula has also been involved with the Lawn Tennis Association performing physical screening.

25 years ago Paula created Apple Physiotherapy - now one of the largest and most successful groups of Clinics in the UK. She has clinics based at the David Lloyd Royal in Bracknell, Wentworth Golf Club and Central Windsor as well as The Lanes Medical Practice in Stoke Poges. She continues to treat patients herself with a client list including many top sport persons such as PGA golfers, professional footballers and professional tennis players. Paula has 12 years of experience as a Traditional Chinese Medicine acupuncturist. She is an APPI Pilates instructor. Paula regularly lectures to GPs and Consultants on rehabilitation and has presented at International Conferences. Paula is a keen sportswoman - previously playing netball for Oxfordshire and competing at gymnastics and mountain biking. She now runs, swims and regularly practices yoga, spending time away on retreats in India and Thailand.
