Are you new to running and unsure of what exercises you should be doing and what distance you should be attempting?

Do you keep getting niggling annoying running injuries when you try and increase your speed or distance?
If you answer yes to any of these questions, then start your journey towards becoming a more efficient and less injury prone and faster runner with our FREE Running workshop taking place on Saturday 11th January at our Bracknell clinic.
What are the aims of the running workshop?
- To increase your understanding of prevention of injury
2. To improve your running performance with training and running technique tips
The Workshop will include practical elements (purely optional) where you will have the opportunity to try out some of the key lower limb exercises to enhance your running strength, flexibility and functional balance.
The practical program is entirely optional but if you would like to be involved with trying the exercises bring your running/training kit with you.
We will also give a practical demonstration of the gait analysis and talk you through the key components we look at when assessing and retraining your running technique to improve your overall running efficiency.
There will be a short Q+A session at the end will give you the opportunity to ask our team of running specialists anything running related. Our team on the day will include physiotherapists specialising in both running related injury and performance and orthotics management plus sports massage therapists.

Mike Davis has been practising for nearly 20 years and has a wealth of experience in treating sports injuries and running injuries.
He is a keen runner and as a consequence has become a leading authority in running injuries and running based rehabilitation.
Mike believes strongly that it is essential not just to treat and resolve the patient’s symptoms-e.g pain, stiffness, swelling but also to analyse and correct their faulty posture and movement patterns. His experience in treating spinal and sports related conditions allied with his knowledge of the current evidence based research on the most effective exercises give patients the best possible opportunity to resolve their symptoms and speed their recovery from injury.
